PEUGEOT has once again donated £10,000 via the Attitude Magazine Foundation for winners of the PEUGEOT Attitude PRIDE Awards Europe, supported by British Airways, to give to a cause close to their heart. Here’s how 2025 honouree Miss Tess Tickle shared hers…

Twenty counselling sessions, 60 food-bank parcels, and a hotel break for a family facing their father’s cancer treatment - that is exactly what Miss Tess Tickle’s £1,000 share of PEUGEOT’s donation via the Attitude Magazine Foundation covered for the Angel Trust, the County Durham charity the 2025 PEUGEOT AttitudePRIDE Awards Europe honouree helped found in 2017. “£1,000 made such a difference to our organisation,” she says.
“Financial donations are crucial to the Angel Trust,” she adds. “Due to the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, the fundraising landscape has changed completely, and cash is more important now than ever before.”
The Angel Trust doesn’t do just one thing. Since Tickle helped establish it alongside CEO Clair McGregor and a board of trustees, it has run a food bank, a community pantry, a charity shop, a Safe Hub for people experiencing homelessness, and a mental health support line.
Free in-house counselling followed in 2025, with more than 500 clients supported in under a year. Tickle points out that “a life-saving crisis counselling session is only made possible through funding and donations.” The trust’s annual toy appeal distributed 15,000 gifts to children and young adults in need last Christmas. It has also extended its support to refugees in the area, reflecting a charity that adapts its services to meet demand.
The Angel Trust charity’s guiding principle has remained unchanged throughout: every penny raised goes directly back to the community. That commitment shaped how the PEUGEOT donation was used, and it is the same commitment that has seen the Trust raise more than £5 million to date, all of it distributed across County Durham and Darlington. For a charity that began as a way of uniting Tickle’s fundraising efforts under one roof, the scale of what it has become is considerable.
“We are incredibly grateful to PEUGEOT for their generous donation,” says Tickle.
This year, PEUGEOT is once again donating £10,000 to the PEUGEOT Attitude PRIDE Awards Europe winners via the AttitudeMagazine Foundation. Ten winners, ten causes, and the same chance to direct funds where they are needed. If the 2025 cohort is any indication, the results will speak for themselves.
